Romina Marazzato Sparano

Romina Marazzato Sparano, CT has over 20 years of experience in writing, translation, and education. She founded Plain Language International Inc., co-founded the Plain Language Academies, co-chairs the Plain Language Research Special Interest Group, and designed the Master of Arts in Translation/Localization Management Program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She has served in various leadership roles at organizations such as ACES, ATA, PLAIN, TILP, SEA, and RedACTE. She serves as judge for the ClearMark Awards and the Plain Language Awards. She contributes to standards development at ASTM International and the International Organization for Standardization.
