Analía Bogdan is an ATA-certified English into Spanish translator specializing in finance. She has a bachelor’s degree in translation from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s degree in legal and economic translation. She did a graduate course in capital markets and was certified as a mutual funds advisor in Argentina. She worked in the financial industry for 10 years before becoming a professional translator. She was the administrator of the Finance Division of the Buenos Aires Translator’s Association for five years, and the secretary of the Technology Division of that same association for seven years. She was also the treasurer of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Florida (ATIF) for two years. She has given courses and talks relating to finance and banking for companies and translation associations (NCATA, NCTA, ATIF, CTPCBA) and written several articles for professional publications, such as Intercambios, the newsletter of ATA’s Spanish Division, and ATA’s Legal Division blog. She was also a speaker at ATA’s Annual Conference in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. She was granted a permanent residence in the U.S. for her specialization in the financial translation industry, considered of national interest.
